We can’t visit most animals every other day, for any reason. With the rare exception of some indoor cats, all animals must be seen at least once a day. Those cat owners who elect to have their animals visited every other day must sign a special waiver of liability.
-
We can't see inside dogs only once a day. Dogs without access to the outdoors via a dog door must be visited a minimum of twice a day.
-
We can’t job share with anyone other than someone living in the home.
-
We won’t accept clients who will not allow us access to their house. Due to possible medical emergencies or dangerous weather that may come up, we must have access to the house and have a working key for the entire length of the visit.
-
We don't accept clients that just want us to "toss some food" out in the dog pen.
-
We don’t accept clients who don’t provide proper care and shelter to all of their animals. We are happy to provide service for outdoor animals who do have proper shelter for the hottest summers and the coldest winters.
- We do not schedule enough time to clean accidents on floors every visit. If we determine your pet needs more visits each day than you have paid for and scheduled, we will call you to either increase the number of daily visits or will take your dog to the boarding kennel of your choice. Please do no only schedule 2 visits a day for your dog if he/she is used to going out 4-5 times a day. The majority of indoor dogs need 3 visits a day.

Is Pet Sitting right for every animal?
The simple answer, NO! Pet sitting is not the right fit for every situation and every animal. While most pets are most comfortable at home, there are some situations where pet sitting just isn't the right fit. Animals that have serious seperation anxiety usually do best in a kennel enviornment. Dogs and cats in the process of regulating insulin doses should be boarded at their veterinarian. Once dose is regulated, then hire a pet sitter. Very young puppies that are prone to hypoglycemia should be boarded at a veterinarian or in a home boarding situation. Dangerous, aggressive or fear bitting dogs should not be left home and instead should be boarded at a facility that can handle that type of situation, like a veterinarian. Finally, if your dog is very hyper or distructive and not crated while someone isn't there, pet sitting may not be the best option.
